Alison Hinds will be at St Ann Carnival

AFTER a three-year absence from the local stage, Bajan soca queen Alison Hinds is expected to return with a bang to Smirnoff St Ann Carnival at Fantasy Beach in Priory, on Sunday.

Gates are scheduled to open at 6:00 pm.

In a telephone interview with the Jamaica Observer, Hinds said she is elated about returning to ‘The Rock’.

“I am extremely happy and very, very excited to be coming back to Jamaica. I am really looking forward to coming and performing and I can’t wait,” said an elated Hinds.

“I can’t wait to see my fans and feel the vibe and energy from them I always get whenever I come to Jamaica,” she continued.

The former Square One lead singer said she’ll be performing her well-known hits as well new ones. Her hits include Roll It Gal, Bruk It Down, Iron Bazadee and Turn It Around.

“I will be performing those and more with my DJ, DJ DLife. You can expect a very interactive performance. I love my fans all over the world and I am just happy to come back and be a part of carnival,” said Hinds.

Title sponsor Smirnoff said they were pleased to be part of the ocassion.
