“We want to invite Kingston, St Andrew, and Portmore down to Montego Bay to see what BritJam has to offer,” Miriam Rose, assistant coordinator of BritJam, told the Jamaica Observer.
American rapper Young M.A, is currently riding the charts with Ooouu. Local celebrities I-Octane, Konshens, Ding Dong, Bling Dawg, Tifa, Tanto Blacks, Shenseea, and Kapella Don will also be spread out across the events.
According to organisers, BritJam 2017 will kick off on March 8 with All Black: The Official Welcome Party at Pier One while the following day sees BritJam Cook Out at Palmyra. On March 10, Wata War will be hosted at Dump Up Beach. All-White at Tropical Bliss is scheduled for March 11 and will feature Young M.A, while Flesh Beach Party is slated for The Palmyra the following day. Ginuwine and host Bernice Burgos are scheduled to be in attendance.
“The party starts from the moment our visitors arrive in Jamaica. Once rested, our visitors are ushered to the official welcome event which kick-starts our week of events, where they are fused with our local ravers,” said Taylor.
