Asafa Powell Reportedly Rejoins To MVP

Former world 100 metres record holder Asafa Powell has rejoined the MVP Track Club, four years after quitting the Stephen Francis-led outfit.

Powell departed MVP in 2013 after being given an ultimatum to sever ties with his long-time agent Paul Doyle.

Powel is reportedly set to begin training for the new season next Monday.

His return follows that of 2008 Olympic and 2009 world 400m hurdles champion Melaine Walker who returned to MVP this past summer and resumed training two weeks ago, having also left in 2013 to train in the United States.
