Coming hot on the heels of the launch of the Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival, Smirnoff has announced that it is once again on board as the exclusive vodka, and title sponsor of Beach J’Ouvert.
Amped up and ready to go for the Bacchanal Opening Night on February 20, 2015, the Diageo brand promises an exciting and fun-filled experience for all patrons. In keeping with the theme of this year’s carnival, ‘Untamed’, Smirnoff will be adding some ‘wild’ and ‘fierce’ offerings to make this staging even more exciting and memorable.
According to Nasha Douglas, brand manager, Smirnoff, the brand will be adding a whole different vibe and taste with its unique line of flavours to the annual carnival event, to help create a grand experience.
“Smirnoff is known for the experience that the brand brings, and we want to maintain this. As such, we will be stepping outside the box to create an amazingly memorable carnival season for our consumers,” Douglas said.
A beautifully adorned orange and yellow costume called ‘Marjuni’, that represents the fiery spirit of the brand, will be part of the Bacchanal Road March set for April 12. She also emphasised that Bacchanal carnival 2015 would provide the perfect opportunity to excite consumers with new, spontaneous and fun-filled experiences.
“Smirnoff has earned the title of being the preferred drink at many events over the years, and has set the standard on the party scene. The brand is known over the world for bringing innovative and original entertainment to its events,” Douglas explained.
In addition to being the title sponsor of Beach J’Ouvert, which takes place on April 4, Smirnoff will host some of the nights at the Mas Camp. “We will be doing things a little differently this year, and we are excited to share with all our consumers,” Douglas ended, not wanting to give anything away, but encouraging consumers to come out and be a part of the experience.
