Wayne led Cash Money to unprecedented success, landing 109 appearances on Billboard magazine’s “Hot 100” chart and courting Nicki Minaj and Drake to sign deals with Cash Money.
“Birdman’s got huge plans for a Cash Money tour that will put Diddy’s Bad Boy Reunion tour to shame … and he thinks he doesn’t even need Lil Wayne to make it happen,” As reported by TMZ.com citing anonymous sources.
According to Complex Music “TMZ’s report links the concert rumors to the 20-year anniversary of Cash Money Records. Birdman is simultaneously promoting a 25-year anniversary Cash Money Collection with the retailer Pacific Sunwear. The label rose to prominence after the independent success of bounce artists such as U.N.L.V. before signing a $30 million pressing and distribution deal with Universal in 1998.”
