Bounty Killer Could Be Slapped With A Lawsuit By Trini Promoters

Trini promoters Scorch Limited is threatening legal action against dancehall veteran Bounty Killer following claims by the artiste that he was not paid to share the stage with fellow artiste Beenie Man at the Guinness Fully Loaded concert in the twin island republic on Saturday night.

Bounty Killer walked off the stage during a song for song performance with Beenie Man and he later released a statement claiming that he was not paid to perform alongside anyone.

However, promoters of the event are refuting these claims and states that under the terms of the Contract, Scorch Limited was to have paid a particular sum of money, which was not revealed, to the artiste’s management company in exchange for a maximum of 60 minutes of musical presentation with band provided by the promoter for a collaborative performance with Beenie Man.

The promoters also revealed that they will be taking legal action if Bounty Killer fails to make a public apology.

“Scorch Limited takes umbrage to any suggestion that its conduct was less than professional in this instance and will consider all legal options available to it, in an effort to restore its exceptional reputation within the entertainment industry.” Scorch told Loop.
