Charity Event Planned To Raise Funds For Niko Chromatic Life-Saving Surgery (Nov 18)

[Sharingbuttons]A charity event has been planned for poplar selector Niko Chromatic to raise well-needed funds for his life-saving surgery.

The disc jock was diagnosed with renal failure in 2015 and needs life-saving surgery costing US$60,000 (J$7.6 million).

A GoFundMe page which was created in 2015 to assist with the fundraising effort has garnered a little over US$23,000 thus far.

Due to the fact that contribution to the GoFundMe has slowed down significantly, Niko’s family and friends decided to stage a dancehall event in a bid to raise more funds.

The event, set for November 18, is dubbed ‘Dancehall with a Cause’, and will take place at the Triple Century car park, formerly known as St. Lucia car park in New Kingston.
