The ‘If I Ruled The World’ pair will do a 17-date tour across the USA. With neither being a stranger to reggae, the hip-hop, and soul artists’ call Chronixx to set the pace before they touch the stage.
Much of Lauryn’s classic the ‘Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ was recorded in Jamaica, while Nas collaborated with Damian Junior Gong Marley on the ‘Distant Relatives’ album.
The 17 city run across the US which began last week, sees Chronixx as the opening act performing singles from his album Chronology such as the hip hop leaning ‘Black is Beautiful,’ his EDM styled ‘I Can’ and ‘Blaze Up The Fire’ as well as reggae cuts such as ‘Skanking Sweet,’ ‘Smile Jamaica’ and dancehall flavored ‘Likes’ and ‘Spanish Town Rockin.’
On Thursday in a birthday big up to Nas, Chronixx shared a photo from the tour of himself, Nas and DMX.
“Blessed earth strong Nasir. X you’re the greatest! They told us the stories we needed to hear.” Chronixx wrote.
