D-Medz Encourages Youths with New Single

Kingston, Jamaica, May 23, 2016- Recording artiste D-Medz recently released his new single titled ‘Nuh Falla (Bad Company)’ produced by Rural. The single on the ‘Real Rock Riddim’ seeks to encouraging young people to avoid peer pressure and embrace positivity. D-Medz said “Social media has shun the light on several negative practices being adopted by young people in recent times so this single was released to encourage youths to refrain from following bad company and turn to more fruitful activities”.

‘Nuh Falla (Bad Company)’ is one of the 6 new singles on D-Medz’ new mix tape; he said “These singles all contain positive messages. I have always prided myself in being different and using my music as a voice for the youths”. The recording artiste known for singles such as ‘Champion’ that was used as a theme song on the youth empowerment programme ‘Talk Up Youth Tours’, ‘No Vote’ and ‘Rebel Souljah’ on his EP titled ‘Empower’ has always spoke to social issues and concerns of Jamaicans.

This passionate 26 year old artiste, reigns from the town of May Pen in Clarendon. Previously a dancehall artiste, D-Medz now believes that conscious reggae music is his calling. He is an affiliate of EppJam Production and made a great impact with his Rebel Salute performance in January of this year. D-Medz said “With this new mix tape and the expected shows I am looking to be a part of, I am expecting a very productive summer”.
