De’Jour Russell Wins Gold In Championship Record Time At IAAF World Under-18

Jamaica’s 17-year-old, De’Jour Russell who ran a championship record time in the heats of the boys’ 110-metre on Thursday has shattered his own Under 18 record when he captured Gold in the event earlier today at the 10th and final IAAF World Under-18 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya.

Russell, who was a 4th place finisher at the 2016 World Junior Championship, shattered his own Under 18 record when he captured the 110m hurdles in a new championship mark of 13.04 seconds.

Antonia Watson meanwhile left it late before rallying to snatch the gold in the boys 400m.
