DSR drops “Feel Good Riddim” ft. Busy Signal, Harry Toddler, Ikel Marvlus, Beenie Man etc

Everybody gets high sometimes, but what a better way to let it off in this festive season than taking a deep breath and enjoy the good vibes that the “Feel Good Riddim” produced by DownSound Records (DSR) offers.

“The Feel Good Riddim #1 is the 1st juggling to come out of DSR this year. I trust that the positive energy and lyrics emanating from the artists we hand picked, gives a refreshing vibe to the dancehall and I hope you enjoy it going into the holiday season. Let’s tun this riddim up and its associated artists way up, and reach the international recognition the fraternity so richly deserves. Cheers for those who love Jamaica and our culture! Get your swag on.” – Joseph Bogdanovich

The riddim features artistes like Busy Signal – Everywhere, Harry Toddler & Ikel Marvlus – Middle East [Tonight], Beenie Man – Enjoy Yuh Life, Christopher Martin – Feel So Good, Ding Dong & Shanseea – Rock The Floor, D-Major – Live It Up, Cee Gee – Yaad Man A Step.

With dancehall aiming to reach new markets and DownSound Records (DSR) being a vehicle, Skata Burrell took advantage of a video he saw online with Arab men dancing and invited Harry Toddler to record a song on the riddim titled “Middle East” that became an instant hit.

It is a party vibes riddim that inspires a certain joy and a stress free feeling as evident in the contents of the songs voiced on the riddim thus far. An enjoyable flow with a mixture of Reggae and Dancehall among other genres of music. Dancehall has been longing for this type of vibration and the Feel Good Riddim is definitely here to provide us with a musical heeling that also aims to in-cooperate a new type of audience to our music fraternity.

Downsound Records have been making waves and their intention to take Reggae and Dancehall to a new levels have not gone unnoticed. After taking over Sumfest Joseph Bogdanovich excluded international night from the event. Now, for the first time the event was the recipient of the distinguished Concert of the Year Award at the 35th anniversary of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
