Flippa Moggela’s lawyer trying to bar retrial

Flippa Moggela’s attorney J Michael Farrell has hinted that their request to bar the State’s decision to retry the dancehall deejay may affect a retrial of the case slated for May 23.

With only 10 days to go, top-tier Philadelphia criminal attorney, J Michael Farrell in an exclusive Music News interview, said they have made an appeal to the New Jersey Supreme Court to prevent a retrial due to double jeopardy reasons. Mr. Farrell tells us more.

Music News understands that the State will retry Flippa on the first-degree charge of Leader of a Narcotics Trafficking Network, the one charge on which the jury in the last trial could not reach a verdict.

Meanwhile, the deejay’s baby-mother and two brothers who were involved in the drug ring are all serving more than 10 years each for their involvement in the criminal activity.
