Floods killed 114 with 111 still missing in China’s Hebei Province [Video]
At least 114 people have been killed and 111 others are still missing after torrential rains lashed north China’s Hebei Province. Nearly 300,000 people were evacuated. The provincial government said the disaster caused direct economic losses of about 15 billion yuan (2.2 billion US dollars). It allocated about 105 million yuan (16 million US dollars) worth of emergency funds to be used for relief operations in the worst-hit places.
