Jamaica vs Costa Rica: It’s On Tonight

All eyes will be on Jamaica this evening at 7 pm as the host nation battles with Costa Rica in the 11th round of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying. Jamaica is 7th in points standing while Costa Rica holds firm at 5th place on 13 points. The much-anticipated match will be hosted at National Stadium in Kingston.

The last time the two teams met resulted in a 1:1 draw on September 9, 2021, however, Costa Rica will be looking for more than a draw this time around. The Jamaicans will need to hit the ground running to secure a win against them.

To date, Jamaica and Costa Rica have competed in 30 games, across all competitions. With Costa Rica showcasing dominance over the host nation with 14 clear wins. Jamaica was only able to secure 4 wins, the last one was well over a decade ago in 2010.

The Jamaican team at this time has no injury concerns and it is expected that Damion Lowe will return after serving a one-game suspension. While Costa Rica has replaced Orlando Galo with Anthony Contreras after injuries he received in their game against Panama last Thursday.

Tonight’s match promises to be exhilarating for both teams and fans alike.
