Jamaican And West Indies Batsman Chris Gayle Named Ambassador Of T/10 Cricket

Jamaican and West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has been named as a brand ambassador for a proposed introduction of a T10 cricket competition in Asia later this year.

The new 90-minute format of the game, being promoted by T Ten Sports Management is expected to be hosted in the United Arab Emirates from December 21st-24th of this year and is expected to feature several other game-changing innovations.

Just as he has in the game’s current shortest format T20 cricket, West Indies talisman Chris Gayle is expected to be a major selling point of the tournament.

The 37-old left-hander, who has been announced as the Brand Ambassador of the sport, will be joined at the six-team tournament by Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi and Kumar Sangakkara.
