Dancehall artiste Konshens recently wrapped up a six-week tour of Europe, that saw him sharing the stage with rappers Fetty Wap, Joey Bad A$$ and R&B singer Kehlani.
This caused him to gain a lot of followers on Social Media. His Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers have increased by 90,000 overall.
Since it is clear that the Explicit record did so well, the artiste is getting ready to release a mixtape with a controversial title. Because he had some success, with explicit or X- rated content.
“I don’t shy away from X-rated content, that’s a part of who I am, and I won’t pretend otherwise. You have song fi Pickney and song fi big people, this just happens to be a big people ting. So steer your kids clear of this one, there is always other music out there for you. To my rebels, ah your own this.” The artist said.
He had managed to make a few international media stops and he was also featured in The Guardian. The song that is doing well for him now is “Bruk Off Yuh Back”, it is one of the most played tracks in the Caribbean and it has been viewed more than 20 million times on You Tube.
The artiste says he will release positive music sometimes, but he will not shy away from X- rated content. But for now he is just putting in the work on the road and then he will slow down recording, as he is planning to settle into album mode in 2017.
Fans can look forward to the release of the remake of Beenie Man’s single “Girls Dem Sugar” and “Tan Up” which will be an exclusive track co-produced by Rvssian.
So fans will be happy with all the great stuff, coming from Konshens in the future. He seems to be serious about his career and he wants to do his best, so that he can keep his fans happy.
