Lady G says new female dancehall artistes “Need to tone it down” + 90’s dancehall [Video]

Lady G stopped by The Fix and talked being one of 11 Jamaican women to be honoured at the QORIHC Honorarium for their contributions to Industry, Music and Entertainment. The veteran DJ also reflected on her career in the 90’s, gave her thoughts on the current state of dancehall and paid respects to the likes of Lady Saw and Papa San.

Ahaha

These ladies fighting a war against each other since LADY Saw quit dance hall. A lot of them don’t have any direction where they want to go. They just making music for Jamaica industry. Not for the international market.
