Word has been spreading that the body of Thomas was found in Spanish Town.
However, the St Catherine police as well as the Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) say they are unable to confirm such claims.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Marlon Nesbeth, who is in charge of the St. Catherine North Police Division has also said he has no knowledge of the incident.
Efforts to contact Thomas’s family have proven futile.
Thomas who owns Nickfotoworks.com, has been missing since Monday.
Unconfirmed reports reaching The STAR are that the body of popular photographer and owner of Nickfotoworks, Nicketa Thomas was found in Spanish Town this morning.
The STAR has not confirmed these reports.
However, various artistes have sent condolences to the family and friends of the photographer who is widely-known in dancehall circles.
QQ worte on his Facebook page, “RIP NICK. all my video shoot him always there, always so humble always helping out and giving jokes. Jahkno it’s sad to see how mankind is becoming.”
Hot Up deejay Razor B took to his Instagram to express shock at the news of the photographer’s death.
“Speechless #ripbro #heartbroken #thegooddieyoung #tears #pain #disappointed #smh just talk to man about performing at his bday party,” the artiste wrote.
Social media was sent into a frenzy yesterday when reports surfaced that the photographer has been missing since Monday of this week.
A family member told THE STAR that a missing person report was filed with the Half-Way Tree police on Wednesday after calls to his cell phone went unanswered.
“We went to his house and the grill lock and the radio was on. The folks in the yard say that was how he left the premises on Monday,” the relative said.
