Popcaan, Alkaline, Aidonia & More Nominated For MOBO Awards

The nominees for the 2017 Mobo awards have been revealed.

Making up the best Reggae entertainer of the year category are; Popcaan, Alkaline, Aidonia, Damian Marley and Chronixx.

The annual MOBO Awards which is scheduled to take place on November 29 will return to Leeds’ First Direct Arena.

Last year, the list of reggae nominees sparked controversy after reggae entertainer Protoje questioned the pooling of dancehall and reggae acts, citing that it wasn’t fair to the dancehall or reggae acts nominated.

The coveted best reggae entertainer title was won last year by PopCaan ahead of roots singer Protoje, dancehall deejays Spice and Alkaline and singjay Kranium.

Who will walk away with this year’s MOBO Award for top reggae entertainer?
