Reggae Boys Suffered A Shock 3-1 loss to Peru

The Jamaica Reggae Boyz suffered a shock 3-1 loss to hosts Peru in a friendly international in Lima, last night.

Goals from Edison Flores in the 21st and Renato Tapia in the 43rd minute as well as a second half-strike from Paolo Guerrero gave the South Americans the win.

The Regggae Boyz came from the penalty spot when veteran Jermaine ‘teddy’ Johnson slotted home in the 86th minute.

The game was used for the upcoming Caribbean football championship and the gold cup tournament, and in honour of former JFF President Captain Horace Burrell who passed away last Tuesday in the United States.
