Reggae Boyz Up 19 Places On FIFA Rankings

After making their second consecutive appearance in the CONCACAF Gold Cup finals, Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have moved up a whopping 19 places on the latest release of the FIFA Coca Cola World Rankings.

The Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore led Boyz, who lost to the United States in the Gold Cup final, accrued the most points over the month to occupy the number 57 spot.

This makes them the highest placed Caribbean team in the rankings and are 5th in CONCACAF overall.

The region continues to be led by Mexico (14th, up 2) followed by Costa Rica (21st, up 5), Gold Cup champions United States (26th, up 9) and Haiti who dropped 6 places to 55.
