Security Minister Says Vybz Kartel Can No Longer Record Music In Prison

Minister on national Security, Robert Montague says artiste can no longer illegally record in prison.

Montague was speaking in the House of Representatives on Wednesday that artists behind bars can no longer record music illegally. Corrections Commissioner had revealed last month that the department has an open investigation into claims that Vybz Kartel has been recording music in prison.

It has long been debated as to whether or not Vybz Kartel who is serving a life sentence is illegally recording from behind bars though the artiste has denied the allegations through his Attorneys.

Montage comments came following the recent controversy over a song which sees dancehall artiste Shenseea collaborating with incarnated deejay Vybz Kartel for a song titled ‘Loodi’.
