SMH: ‘Crossman Phantom Rifle’ Found In Vehicle Shipped To Jamaica

The police yesterday found a .22 calibre Crossman Phantom rifle at the Kingston port in the roof of a Ford Transit panel van being shipped from the United Kingdom.

Reports from Newport West police are that about 10:00 am during routine checks the weapon was discovered wrapped in a blue plastic bag in the roof of the panel van.

No one was arrested in relation to the discovery.

Recently, dancehall artiste Bounty Killer blasted Jamaicans living overseas who send guns back to Jamaica which he says has contributed to the strengthening of crime and violence. See Here.

@grunggaadzilla – Bounty Killer Interview 2010 – Rodney Price says ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE. It's not just criminals alone downtown, they're uptown too dressed in jacket and tie, the ones in the government. We don't wanna see young children following the dons, join gangs, or take drugs and guns from dirty politicians. We must reach out and help them, set up workshops and sports activities, anything that's educational and fun so they have a good life growing up. Bun out fake gangstas, so called gangstas that kill innocent people. CLEAR OUT BEFORE YUH FACE TEAR OUT @grunggaadzilla #bountykiller #reggae #dancehall #jamaica @andrewholnessjm @drpeterphillips I WANT EVERYBODY TO REPOST THIS THESE SPEECH SHOULD GO VIRAL I TAGGED THE PM AND THE OPPOSITION LEADER ALSO BCUZ THIS IS WAY TOO SERIOUS NOW ALL OF US AND OUR KIDS FUTURE IS ON THE LINE!
