Following reports, promoter of Sting Isaiah Laing has stated that he wishes to set the record straight after it was reported that… Bounty Killer and Ninja Man have refused to perform at the annual stage show It is said that veteran dancehall artiste Ninja Man, who is always billed for the annual event once he is scheduled to, was reportedly never paid for the 2012 staging of Sting.
In a recent interview with sources, it is said that Laing stated that, Ninja Man was not asked to do the show this year and since the artiste was released from jail some 6 months ago he has not seen him apart from seeing him on television saying a lot of derogatory things about him and he’s not sure why because he has done so much for Ninja Man and his career. He continued to say that up until the time of his interview Ninja Man has not walked into his office or made his presence be known so he cannot book him as he does not have a manager that the promoter knows of.
Meanwhile, Bounty Killer, via his Twitter account has allegedly made it known to the public that he will not be doing the show this year due to comments that were supposedly made by Sting’s promoter on a recent television interview.
Sources have confirm that Laing stated that Bounty Killer has been contracted to perform at the show this year, which is to take place on December 26 so he’s not entirely sure what’s the artiste’s take on that. He went on to state that Bounty Killer said that he dissed him however he did no such thing he simply made an analogy and from his point of view, was not meant to be disrespectful.
