Reggae newcomer Taya has managed to land a collaboration with one of Jamaica’s most celebrated entertainers.
Her latest single, Money Worries, features the vocals of the iconic Yellowman. Money Worriesis a remake of a song by the same name done by Taya’s father.
She is pleased with the reception that it has been getting thus far. “Everyone has been responding positively to the song. so far, I’m very excited. We put a lot of work into it, both Yellowman and I, so this is the result of our work. My aim has always been to make positive music for the ears of the world, so it’ll be more of the same going forward,” she said.
The song was produced by Noel Small and Tellaflexx of L&R Stardust Label, who has worked with several Jamaican entertainers in the past.
“It was a good experience working with Taya. She’s a very promising up and coming act. Yellowman is a veteran so that, too, is a joy for me,” Small said of the song.
Money Worries will be premiered on several radio stations in coming weeks. It will also be available on iTunes upon its release on March 24.
