The two concepts behind the project are basically about family togetherness and maintaining roots rock reggae at its highest level. The way to highlighting the importance of togetherness is illustrated from a family perspective (the Bonner brothers) whilst setting an example to the general public.
1. Pliers – Happy We
2. Spanner Banner – Miracle God
3. Shav A – Sight
4. Snatcha Lion – Great Light
5. Richie Spice – There’s a Way
6. Black Shepherd – Blood Tears
7. Family Pride (Instrumental) by Bonner Cornerstone Music
The name of this album “Family Pride” came from the pride the Bonner Brothers have in the family building. Indeed, Richie Spice, Pliers, Spanner Banner, Snatcha and Shepherd have maintained a togetherness over the years of their respective musical carreers, and as such the name came about for this project featuring them all together for the first time.
The last artiste on the project is the female artist Shav A. Shav A was featured naturally as she is apart of the Bonner family (Bonner Cornerstone Music Limited). She’s been apart of the family for over 7 years and we have a great relationship with her dad Admiral Tibet.
This project is expected to receive international recognition from the major industry stakeholoders and to be covered on TV and internet by a medley music video.
The ultimate purpose of the project is to reactivate the Bonner brothers catalogue for the purpose of the “Bonner Brothers World Tour”.
