USA Defeats The Reggae Boyz 2-1 To Claim Gold Cup

USA scored an 88th-minute winner as the United States claimed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz for their sixth CONCACAF Gold Cup title on Wednesday night at the Levi’s Stadium.

USA opened the scoring when Altidore curled a free-kick past substitute goalkeeper Dwayne Miller on the stroke of half-time.

The game appeared set for extra time after Je-Vaughn Watson canceled out Jozy Altidore’s stunning first-half opener, however, Jordan Morris struck in the 88th minute to seal a third Gold Cup title for head coach Bruce Arena.
