Young Reggae Boyz Defeat El Salvador In CONCACAF U-17 Championship

The young Reggae Boyz defeated El Salvador 3-1 in their crucial Group C CONCACAF on Wednesday to revive the hope of progressing to the next round of the Under-17 Championship.

The score was locked at 1-1 up until the 83rd minute when Kaheem Parris scored a penalty and added a second in the 90th minute to come away 3-1 winners.

Ricardo McIntosh had found the back of the net in the 17th minute to take the lead for the young Reggae Boyz before Ronaldo Cerritos equalized from the penalty spot.

Jamaica now has a chance of progressing but will need to produce a great performance on Saturday when they take on Mexico.

The young ‘Boyz’ were thrashed 5-0 by the USA in their previous game.
