The album “Alter Ego” is a combination of “Soca, dancehall, reggae, R&B, and gospel”, says Lady Saw. She delivers her consistent dancehall riddims that are sure to have you dancing, while presenting a bluesy duet with Estelle. Lady Saw’s vibrant and enthusiastic nature not only radiates through her new album, it also shines through in this interview. She’s sure to not disappoint by delivering controversial tracks such as, “STD”, “Pretty Fingers”, and “Mi & Mi X”. Never shy, Lady Saw shares the inspiration behind these tracks. Noting that she is more than just the music, the proceeds from this album will go towards the “Lady Saw Foundation” in Jamaica, where aiding abused women is the goal.
