Record: Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” Becomes Longest Running No. 1 By Solo Female Rapper

Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” has stayed in the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third week in a row, marking a new milestone for the Bronx rapper.

As Billboard reports, “Bodak Yellow” is now the longest running number 1 by a female solo rapper ever, surpassing Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” which ruled the charts for two weeks in 1998 with a number 1 debut.

Bodak Yellow dipped to number two on the Streaming Songs chart this week, with with 47.6 million U.S. streams, but gained ground on the Radio Songs chart, moving up one spot from 11 to 10.

The track is Cardi B’s first top 10 song on the Radio Songs chart.
