Fast-rising dancehall artiste Big Bang, aka Young Wild Apache, is upbeat about his soon-to-be released mix tape, ‘Life Change’, produced by Affiliates Records.

The date for the mix tape will be announced shortly on Night Fix, an Internet radio station. however, Big Bang, born Rohan Reid, has been busy in the streets promoting the project.

“Well I’m really excited about this mix tape, and my team is busy in the streets promoting it at parties, dances, stage shows and via social media,” Big Bang said.

Songs on the mix tape have been getting some attention in the dancehall. These include Nuh Fi Bite (featuring Diligent), Shot A Spray (Burru Banton remix), Cyaah Escape, Life Goes On and No Coke Zone, among others.

The mix tape will feature 20 songs mainly from dancehall and reggae genres.

“Fans can expect high energy, good lyrical content and positive vibration from this project,” Big Bang assured.

Affiliates Records CEO Leroy Francis has put a lot work into the project and has high expectations for the mix tape. Affiliates Records is located in Cockburn Pen, Kingston 11, where Big Bang originates. Artistes such as Dancehall icon Super Cat and the late Early B once called that community home.

Big Bang’s love for music started from a tender age when he was introduced to the craft by his uncle, an artiste who went by the name Black Sheep.

“My Uncle took me along whenever he went to the studio and, from there, I had a love for the art,” he said.

He is working on new material that will hit the streets before the end of summer.

For him, more exposure on prime time television and radio will greatly push his career to another level. For now, he is busy in the studio and perfecting his craft.
